The history of GEETHA began in 1919 when the founder, P K Raghavan opened a textile shop in Koothuparamba in Kannur district, Kerala. The brand was established and expanded as 'GEETHA' in 1960 by his son P K Jayaraj, who transformed it into a retail showroom and a leading textile group, known for a Complete Family Store. The firm continues to thrive as a multi-generational family business, known for its vast range of Handloom collections, Home furnishing, Ethnic wears, including Sarees, Dhotis, Dhavani, Kids wear, Western wear, Casual wear and so on.

I was thoroughly delighted to discover Geetha Stores & Geetha Wedding Mall in Kalpetta,Wayanad. I was delighted by the sheer range of sarees so representative of our beautiful Southern culture. They have a saree for every budget and ocassion, unique and heavier ones too that can be a woman’s prized ownership.
The staff members were earnest, enthusiastic and even draped and pleated every saree I almost liked. The store itself is huge. I understand that they have an online website which I am yet to browse. Their collection will revive your interest in sarees and it is a matter of pride that there are places where Indian culture and tradition in its purity and vastness have been kept alive.
